Role: Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Stephen joined the company in 1993 and was appointed to the Board in 1995. In 2001, Stephen led a management buyout of the company and was appointed Chief Operating Officer before taking over as CEO at the end of 2004.

Under Stephen’s direction, Mace has become a £20m profit business achieving a 35% CAGR over the last six years. He has led the company to achieve phenomenal growth with turnover increasing from £90m to £500m, staff numbers grown from 800 to 2,700 whilst evolving the company into a multi-disciplined consultancy and construction group with an enviable reputation for quality and delivery.
