Mace welcomes new country manager for Russia

The Mace Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Chivers as country manager for Russia. Based in Moscow, Simon will be responsible for the company's operations and developing the business in this rapidly expanding market.

The construction market in Russia is growing at an unprecedented rate with many large corporates and existing Mace clients looking to establish or expand their presence in the market. Mace has been operating in Russia since 2004 and is now looking to capitalise on the foreign direct investment which is flooding the market, utilising the knowledge base developed from current operations. Simon says that he is excited about the opportunity and challenge that lies ahead.

Simon joins Mace from India where he was country manager for Leighton Construction. Prior to that Simon managed the American engineering construction company Shaw in Australia. He has more than 30 years experience in the building industry having first started with his family company WE Chivers in the UK.
