In an in-depth examination of progress on the iconic new development above London Bridge station, Building looks at the many milestones the team have already passed. From organising a 36-hour hour continuous concrete pour to a truly innovative technique that allowed 21 storeys to be erected before the foundations were in place, the Shard is a project that is redefining construction in the capital.
