Information

Opened on the 5th of November 2008, "Bahia Azul" is a major factory-style retail centre for household goods.

Mace was the project and construction manager for this large retail park in Malaga, Spain. The total built area is 39,734m2 with 16,834m2 of GLA. The park comprises eleven stores specialising in household goods such as Boulanger, Miró, XTRA Telecom, The Phone House and Saneamientos Puya. The park is operated and promoted by our client Bahía de Málaga Desarrollos Integrales.

"Bahía Azul" is one of the biggest and modern retail developments in Andalucía, integrated in the "Bahía de Málaga" Tourist Services Centre, with a total built area of 120,000 m2 of new retail areas. The park is located opposite Plaza Mayor Shopping Centre, another Mace delivered project whose second phase completed recently, and opposite to Ikea. "Bahía Azul" Retail Park is the last project that completes Bahia de Málaga, one of most ambitious projects and unique in Andalucia.
