Como delivered the Cat A fit out on levels  4, 5, 8 and 18 at Broadgate Tower for developers, British Land and Blackstone.  The tower is one of the tallest buildings in London and is located on Bishopsgate in the City of London.

Working in an occupied building presents certain challenges and this project at Broadgate Tower was no exception.  Minimising disruption to existing tenants was a main priority. Como made every effort to ensure its team and sub-contractors were sensitive to the requirements of working in occupation.  As a result of noisy working restriction, the Como team scheduled work activities at nights and on weekends to deliver a successful project.

Logistics was another key element on the project and the Como team had to carefully manage logistical elements in coordination with the programme.  Deliveries were only allowed after 1pm and with these limitations in place, a strict ‘just in time’ delivery system was put in place.

A keen eye for detail is required on a Cat A fit out and the Como team worked diligently to deliver the kind of quality expected by British Land.  Since the appointment on this project, Como has been awarded two further projects by British Land.
