Reborn in Armenia

Mace project managed the re-birth of this stunning luxury hotel in the centre of Yerevan, Armenia.
The refurbished Armenia Marriot is located in a strategic and visually commanding position on Republic Square in Yerevan, the nation's capital. The hotel is the most prestigious in Armenia and on completion now provides 226 bedrooms and extensive public and conference areas.

The project comprised two existing buildings linked by a bridge at level two. The original building was constructed in 1957 and is known as Armenia I. The second building, Armenia II, was completed in 1986. The development is designed to provide a comfortable air-conditioned environment for all guests. The scope of work included total strip out, seismic-upgrade, total refurbishment of the building included MEP, internal fittings, external catering, functions, office, restaurant and health club facilities.

The importance of the development has long been recognised at both local and strategic level and will assist in the promotion of both this area specifically and Armenia generally as a location for major development.
