Information

Following Como's previous project for DCLG's Eland House, the team are now working on the ground, first, second and third floors of Eland House re-configuring the office space over ten phases.

The fit out consisted of forming new glass fronted offices and meeting rooms, new break out areas, quiet areas with banquette seating and individual lockers for each member of staff, photocopying and library areas. On the ground floor, a new steel and glass staircase will contact the ground to mezzanine second floor level in the existing seven storey glass atrium.

Como will also be forming a raised floor area with a bespoke cafe bar with seating area and a suspended glass pod meeting room. There is also a moveable display wall and suspended designer sails with led lighting as a feature in the atrium.

Within the meeting rooms, five sets of glass timber folding walls incorporating numerous changes to the mechanical installation that will eventually accommodate 170 people for conferences.
