Stephen Henley

Role: Operation Lead - Public Sector Team

Stephen is the operations lead for the public sector team for Mace Plus, embracing the IESE Framework (Improvement & Efficiency South East), a role he has held since June 2008.

Prior to this Stephen was head of engineering for Mace Plus supporting the services teams on various projects and ensuring that quality and consistency was maintained whilst monitoring the performance of the supply chain.

Stephen has been employed by Mace Group for over nine years and has experience on numerous projects with many clients ranging from the Tate Gallery to luxury residential developments to fit out works.

Having begun his career in the construction industry in 1988 as an apprentice engineering trainee for a large building services firm he has gained valued experience and technical skills over the last 20 years including team management, design, site management and training. Also during his career he has successfully completed a vocational construction engineering degree completing with a first class honors.

Being highly motivated with a firm belief in quality and a strong work ethic leads to timely delivery of projects and programme milestones and also working closely with the supply chain to ensures that Mace Plus's requirements are clearly communicated and understood.

Stephen is an approachable leader who is always personally involved in all aspects of the business and especially the projects that Mace Plus delivers. His tenacity and drive help mace Plus to continue their success and expansion.
