Mace and Macro have successfully completed a review of the operation of seven schools for Leeds City Council, providing project management and facilities management advice. The Leeds PFI project has encountered building and performance problems since construction finished in 2001.
The Council, Education Leeds, special purpose company, ESCO and operations contractor Carillion Integrated Solutions (formerly Mowlem Project Services) agreed to jointly launch an improvement project that investigated and addresses all the issues over a 12 month period.
Mace are supported by Macro who are lending facilities management expertise to the appraisal of services delivery at the seven schools, Asquith, Oakwood, Springbank, Hilltop and Five Lanes Primary Schools and Roundhay and Lawnswood secondary schools.
